Over 1,100 pupils from schools across North Manchester are attending a number of safety workshops, organised by Child Safety Media, over the next two weeks.

The Crucial Crew events run from 1st to 12th June at the Ardwick Green Army Reserve Centre in Ardwick Green.

Crucial Crew is a multi-agency safety event designed to provide children aged 10-11 with life skills and vital safety advice.

We’re delighted to welcome some new agencies taking part this year including Lifeline Eclypse who will hold workshops on drugs and young people, the RNLI focusing on water safety, Manchester Health & Wellbeing Service advising on dental hygiene and Manchester City Council ASBAT team, who will be hosting sessions on anti-social behaviour.

In addition, there will be sessions by Crucial Crew regulars Greater Manchester Police, British Transport Police, Barclays and One Manchester.

Many thanks to all involved.
