More than 700 students from schools across Blackburn with Darwen have been learning what it takes to get ‘streetwise’.
The ‘Operation Streetwise’ safety event teaches Year 6 children how to deal with dangerous situations and stay safe.
Agencies involved in delivering interactive workshops included Lancashire Police (antisocial behaviour), Lancashire Fire & Rescue (water and road safety), British Red Cross (First Aid), British Transport Police (railway safety) and Witton Park Academy (e-safety).
The event took place at Witton Park Academy in Blackburn from 27 June to 1st July.
