Milnrow Cricket Club hosted this year’s Rochdale Crucial Crew child safety event. Over 1,750 Year 6 pupils (age 10-11) from local primary schools attended.
During the event we were delighted to welcome the High Sherrif of Greater Manchester Mark Llewellin DL together with Club President Simon White.
The event ran from Monday, 21st September to Friday, 9th October 2026, with sessions presented by Greater Manchester Police; Rochdale Council Environment Services; British Transport Police; Travelsafe; Greater Manchester Victim Services; School Nurses and Live 4 Energy.
We would like to thank the Greater Manchester High Sheriff’s Trust for sponsoring this event together with our hosts, Allanah and the team. As always, further thanks must be extended to our activity providers for their time, dedication, and commitment to Crucial Crew. Final thanks to the teachers and pupils who we trust enjoyed their visit,
