On Friday 11th November, we will be delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Cheshire, Kathy Cowell OBE DL to a special VIP Day at Cheshire West and Chester Crucial Crew.

The Crucial Crew safety workshops, which take place at the Fox Barracks in Moston, kicked off on Monday 7th November and will run for two weeks. During this time, over 1,000 Year 6 pupils (10-11 years of age) from 31 local primary schools across Cheshire West and Chester will attend the event.

Crucial Crew teaches children about important issues that are often overlooked by the curriculum, such as online safety, road safety, health & wellbeing/anti-bullying, healthy living, fire safety, dog safety/welfare and basic first aid.

Sponsored by Cheshire Crimebeat, there will be sessions from Cheshire Constabulary, Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Road Safety team, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (5-19 service), Chester FC, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Regulatory Services and St John Ambulance.
