A couple of photos from the 2019 Elmbridge ‘Junior Citizen’ event VIP Day which took place on Wednesday, 12th June.
The event ran from Monday, 3rd June to Wednesday,19th June 2019 (inclusive) during which time over 1,300 Year 6 children (10-11 Year Olds) from local primary schools across the borough took part in a series of interactive safety workshops.
The event was sponsored by Elmbridge Community and Safety Partnership and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey. Walton Fire Station hosted the event courtesy of Surrey Fire and Rescue Service. Special thanks to Tim Readings, Assistant Group Commander – Elmbridge Central.
Participating agencies were Surrey Police, Surrey Fire & Rescue Service, St John Ambulance, RNLI, Network Rail / South Western Railway / British Transport Police, Children and Family Health Surrey (School Nurses.
