We’ve been having a busy time out our Tandridge Junior Citizen event at the famous Lingfield Park Racecourse in Surrey.
Tuesday (17th) was our VIP Showcase Day and we were honoured to welcome The Chairman of Tandridge District Council, Cllr Chris Botten. The Chairman was accompanied by Mr Satoru Awano, Managing Director, SECOM Plc; Mr Matthew Norris, Managing Director (South Thames), Croudace Homes; Ms Lisa Herrington, Head of Policy & Commissioning, Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey; and Mr David Wells, Head of Community Resilience, South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Over 700 year 6 pupils attended the event, and our guests observed pupils from Felbridge Primary School (East Grinstead) and Dormansland Primary School as they took part in a series of workshops delivered by South East Coast Ambulance Service, Network Rail, British Transport Police and GTR/Southern, Children and Family Health Surrey (School Nurses), SECOM Plc, Hope UK and the Thames Basin Heaths Partnership.
