On Friday 4th April our Bury ‘Crucial Crew’ child safety welcomed its event ended. The event played host to over 1,350 pupils providing them with the opportunity to participate in a number of interactive safety workshops. These Year 6 children are at a very important stage in their development as they prepare to transition from primary to secondary school.

The workshops were presented by Greater Manchester Police; British Transport Police, TravelSafe Partnership, Bury Road Safety Unit; Bury School Nurses and the Bury Live Well Service.

Thanks, as always, to everyone who everyone who worked so hard to make the event a great success. Special thanks go to Louise and the team at Rochdale AFC who made us all feel very welcome.
