Friday 21st March, marked the end of this year’s Liverpool ‘Crucial Crew’ child safety event. Hosted by the NWRFCA at Chavasse House (Childwall Army Reserve centre). The event played host to over 1,700 pupils providing them with the opportunity to participate in a number of interactive safety workshops. These Year 6 children are at a very important stage in their development as they prepare to transition from primary to secondary school.
The workshops were presented by British Transport Police, TravelSafe Partnership, School Nurses, Scottish Power Networks and We Are With You. Topics covered included Railway, Electricity and Commuter Safety; Vaping; Substances and Mental Health.
Thanks, as always, to everyone who everyone who worked so hard to make the event a great success. Special thanks go to PSAO Gavin Carmozzi and his team at Chavasse House who made us all feel very welcome.
