We’ve been having a fun-packed and busy time at our Macclesfield ‘Crucial Crew’ event in Cheshire.  Tuesday, 23rd April was our VIP Day, and we were honoured to welcome Chief Constable Mark Roberts of Cheshire Constabulary, and local Mayor, Councillor Chris Wilcock.

Also joining us on the day were Tom Barton (Chief Executive of Everybody Health & Leisure), Chief Inspector Sarah O’Driscoll (Macclesfield Local Policing Unit Commander) together with Katy Ellison and Hannah Gayle (CGL – Cheshire East commissioners).

Our guests were able to watch while pupils from St Alban’s Catholic Primary School took part in a variety of interactive safety education and wellbeing workshops presented by Cheshire Police, 0 – 19 School Nursing Cheshire East, CGL – Cheshire East (YP’s Substance Misuse Service), Cadent Gas and Everybody Health & Leisure.

This year’s event was held at Macclesfield RUFC, which was provided again courtesy of Andy Appleyard (General Manager).  Sessions commenced on Tuesday, 16th April and run till Thursday, 25th April, during which time we will have welcomed over 750 pupils from local schools.
