Friday, 14th November 2025, saw our second 2025 North Herts ‘Crucial Crew’ event draw to a close. Held at the Garden City Academy in Letchworth, the event played host to over 1,000 Year 6 pupils from 31 local schools giving them the opportunity to participate in several interactive safety workshops. These Year 6 pupils are at an important stage in their lives as they prepare to transition from primary to secondary school.

The workshops were presented by Hertfordshire Constabulary, East of England Ambulance Service, British Transport Police, IMPAKT Housing & Support and Spectrum Families and Young People’s Service (CGL).  These agenciescovered a range of topics designed to help the pupils to stay safe in the future. In addition to thanking our workshops teams and on-site coordinators (Valerie, Karen and Anna), we would like to thank our main sponsor, North Herts Council, for their kind sponsorship this year and for making the event possible again. We would also like to thank Headteacher, Samantha Ruck and her team at Garden City Academy, for making us all very welcome.

Friday the 14th was also our VIP Day, and we were honoured to welcome the following guests: –
