On Wednesday, 28th June, we had a VIP Showcase Day at our 2023 Oldham Crucial Crew event at the Mahdlo Youth Zone.
We were honoured to be joined by Greater Manchester High Sheriff, Mrs Mary-Liz Walker JP DL, Oldham Councils Mayor, Councillor Zahid Chauhan OBE, FRCGP, Oldham Councils Youth Mayor, Hamra Hanif-Al, Chris Wareing, Chairman, Mahdlo Youth Zone, Chief Inspector Abi Cronin, Neighbourhood and Partnerships, Greater Manchester Police, Leon Parkes, Assistant Chief Fire Officer, Greater Manchester Fire Rescue Service.
During their visit, our guests could witness the workshops and show their support for the vital work of the Crucial Crew programme.
It was a special honour also for our on-site event coordinator Jacqui Hogg who was presented with thanks and retirement gifts by the High Sheriff. We’re grateful to you Jacqui for the effort you put into all the events you manage for us.
We also want to thank all our VIP guests for taking time from their busy schedules to be with us. And of course, we couldn’t do what we do without the fantastic input from our partner agencies who present such great workshops.
So, all in all, the day was a huge success.
